Chief Sunday Dare, the former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, paid a congratulatory visit to the new Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, Orumogege III, at his aafin Ogbomoso. He was accompanied by his wife, Yeye Agbaakin Olukemi Dare and host of others. During the visit, Chief Dare congratulated the new King and expressed his confidence in his ability to bring prosperity and development to Ogbomoso land. Official statement on Iwuye ceremony of Oba Ghandi Olaoye III released As tomorrow, Thursday September 14, marks the end of the seven-day seclusion rite of the new Soun of Ogbomosoland Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III, there will be official public appearance of the monarch in accordance with tradition. The ceremony, according to a release by His Majesty’s media team, will involve royal parade from Ogbomoso High School to the palace at Oja’gbo. Various events have been lined up also at the palace including an interdenominational service, goodwill messages and invocation of prayers and blessings for the people and community. The event was attended by distinguished individuals who were recognized for their contributions to the development of their community. 29-year-old man identified as Atanda From Asemolu Compound Oke-Agbede Ogbomoso, has committed suicide by hanging himself on a ceiling, In Ogbomoso, Oyo state. The young man was found hanging with a rope on ceiling while he used a bench to commit this suicide, our correspondence tried reaching the Area Command Office of the Nigeria Police force to confirmed if any foul play was suspected, also to confirm if the case is under investigation, but to no avail. -Insideogbomosonews
