JUST IN: FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC AYEDE,SET TO TAKE OFF WITH 10 ACCREDITED DEPARTMENTS.

The Recently approved Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, in Ogbomoso zone is set to take off in September with 10 Department.

Insideogbomoso.blogspot.com gathered that the school will kick off come September 2021, however our correspondent gathered that the Federal ministry of Education is yet to approve any of the proposed sites as the two LGA Headquarters of Ogo-Oluwa and Surulere are in loggerheads  on where to kick start.

The tussle however is not far from the lack of suitable and conducive facilities in Ayede microtown, as the Oyo state government outrighty denied the approval of Government Technical College Ogbomoso and also deny the usage of the Only public Secondary school in Ayede town.

Leaving FG with the choice of the only suitable federal Government Facility NYDC Idi-ayin within Ogbomoso axis, also Ajaawa Public secondary school as been approved by the State government for uses in taking off.

Recall that The Federal Ministry for youth and sport development, head by Hon Minister Sunday Dare has upgraded the National youth Development Centre NYDC with whooping sum of N95m, for a facelift of the abandoned Centre, the rehabilitation was facilitated by the minister, to enhance the takeoff of the polytechnic.

We however gathered that the five schools approved for takeoff at the polytechnic for the next five years (2021-2026) are.

School of Agriculture Technology.

School of Engineering.

School of Environment and Valuation

School of Management Science and

School of Science and Technology.

The 10 departments are.

Department of Agriculture Technology.

Department of Agricultural Extension and management.

Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering.

Department of Computer Engineering Technology.

Department of Urban and Regional planning.

Department of Accountancy 

Department of Business administration and Management.

Departments of Computer science.

Department of Science laboratory Technology and Department of Tourism and leisure managements.

 The N2bn Takeoff Fund promised by the Federal government is yet to be released to any of the approved schools, against all odds the School will admit new students and takeoff come September 2021.
