Ayede Poly: Pioneer Staffs Recruited As Institution Gets Ready To Take Off.
The rector of the polytechnic, Dr. Taofeeq Adekunle, made these heartened disclosures Wednesday, during a town-hall meeting members of the institution’s Governing Council, who made their inaugural visitation to the institution, had with the people of Ogbomoso, held at the Ogbomoso Recreation Club, POAT area.
Dr Adekunle informed they had put necessary machineries in motion for takeoff, saying they only now are waiting for the approval of courses and subsequent accreditation by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Expressing optimism these would come to pass before the commencement of the 2022/2023 academic session later in the year Adekunle further disclosed that the pioneer staff had been recruited and would soon be handed their letters of appointments.
Our correspondence reported earlier that 150 staff would be recruited, however, the exercise was undertaken via windows of slots and not through the fairer advertisement of positions. Perhaps there were inexplicable constraints to treading that path necessitating its being done covertly. Subsequent recruitments hopefully would not follow that trend as many job seekers are in deep lamentations for missing out in the exercise. In addition, it is learnt that the institution plans to commence with 13 courses.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Governing Council, Professor Dakas J Dakas SAN, assures the institution would operate on the platform of high moral and academic standards promising to eschew religious or ethnic issues capable of truncating peaceful coexistence in the school.

Employment of staff should be based on transparency and not slot base employment if truly the school is established to produce first class graduate.
