The Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Oyo State, Nigeria is a newly established technological institution established to engage in innovative education, research and training, aiming at the overall transformation and sustainable development of the nation. The institution was established as a tertiary educational institution for the provisions of courses of instruction, training and research in areas of science, technology, management and other fields of applied learning relevant to the human resource and needs of the nation. 

The Objectives of the Institution: To provide full-time and/or part-time courses of instruction and training in Technology, Applied Science, Commerce and Management; as well as such other fields of applied learning relevant to the technological needs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the areas of innovative education, industrial and agricultural production and distribution, as well as research development and techniques, as may be determined by the Academic Board and the Council from time to time. 

To arrange Conferences, Seminars and Study Groups relating to the various fields of learning. To perform such other functions as may, in the opinion of the Council, serve to promote the objectives of the Polytechnic.

The primary task of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, is to drive and manage human and material resources to establish, improve, strengthen, innovate and excel the Institution in Learning, Dexterity and Morals. In order to achieve the foregoing, I am setting a developmental agenda, titled: “TOWARDS LAYING A STRATEGICALLY SOLID FOUNDATION, SUSTAINABLE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, AYEDE”. This agenda, I hope to implement with the collective efforts and cooperation of all the stakeholders.

  • As the Pioneer Rector of the Institution, my Vision and Mission Statements are: to realize and preserve the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, as a world – class, most distinguished institution where academic activities, innovative skills and character are deeply interwoven, blended and interconnected together for the overall attainment of the objectives of education, which majorly, are geared toward meeting societal needs for the development and sustainability of true civilization.

  • To position the Polytechnic to be self-reliant, self-sustaining and a pacesetter in academic excellence, skills acquisition and mastery, professional growth and moral excellence for the overall development of students and staff to their full potentials, for the promotion of a strong, democratic, egalitarian, prosperous, indivisible and united sovereign nation.
