Youths From Ogbomoso Zone Hail Sport Minister Sunday Dare Over Sport Icon Award, Commonwealth Success.
The Ogbomoso Progressive Youths (OPY) with members from the 5 LGAs and 8 LCDAs of Ogbomoso Zone Applauded Sport minister Sunday Dare Over Recent Commonwealth Success and Sport Icon Award of the year, says ministers results and actions improves trust in his competency, the group which appreciate the commonwealth success where Nigeria recorded it best ever medals are more excited because the frontierman comes from Ogbomoso. The statement sent to our news hub and signed by the coordinator Comr Sunday Oyelekan Amiable and it secretary Comr Gbadebo Adebayo Royal acknowledged Sunday Dare whose contribution to nation building deserves commendation.
The statement thus: "Youths in Ogbomosoland gladly associate with the Illustrious Son, the Minister for Youths and Sports Development; Hon Sunday Dare on the success recorded in the just concluded Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham.
Tellingly, the success attained was due to the quality leadership cum motivation offered by the Minister before and during the tournament.
His unequalled and unparalleled leadership results in Nigeria making history and setting new records in many games. The icing on the cake was Nigeria making the seventh position on the medals table, Nigeria best performance in any international sporting events.
It's is on this note we want to say kudos to you Sir for the platform given to the women who represented Nigeria well at the commonwealth games. The likes of Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume and others who won us Gold and other medals have truly proven beyond doubts that we have talents in our country Nigeria. These women are truly a symbol of greatness for what they represent.
