2023: Ogbomoso Progressive Youths visits stakeholders, affirm support for APC
The youths, under the platform 'Ogbomoso Progressive Youths' paid a courtesy and consultative visit to various APC stakeholders cum candidates Ogbomoso.
The meeting, which centers but not limited to how lingering insecurities can be eradicated in our land, youths involvement in politics and most important, how APC candidates from the Presidency to the least (HoA) will come victorious in the 2023 general elections.
In the consultation, the executives had earlier met with our Matron. Chief Mrs Yeyeluwa Abimbola Ashabi Odebunmi Bunvic, and in our expository deliberation, she appreciates the platform and the drive towards pioneering such epoch making platform.
In another vein, the executives also met with candidates, who are vying for different positions in Ogbomosho zone, like Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala JP, who is eyeing house of representatives seat, to represent Ogbomosho North, South and Oriire federal constituency in 2023, Hon. Jacob Abidoye Bamigboye Honorable member representing Oriire state constituency who's also hoping to return to the state chamber, Hon. Sayo Afolabi who's APC candidate for Ogooluwa/Surulere state constituency.
The consultation was not only limited to the candidates, who are to represent respective offices, but some of the supporters who will serve as the back bones to the movement.
The consultation moves to the office of Hon. Gani Adedokun known as Shynacrown. The organization stakeholders also met with the State APC Youth Leader, Hon. Prince John Aremu Oyetunji.
"While we look up to meeting other progressive stakeholders, our movement has been able to reconcile waring members, sensitize electorate on the importance of having a rulling party governing from grassroots to the national polity and it's imperativeness, amongst other things, we're embracing new members on daily basis, currently we're over a thousand youths" says the group coordinator Oyelekan Sunday Alade.
