PHOTOS: Hon. Shittu Ties knot With Bride In Grand Ceremony 

The city of Kaduna was abuzz with excitement as the Ogbomoso born political bigwig, Hon. Shittu Abdulfatah Olaitan, tied the knot with his new bride, Bashira Shittu, in a grand ceremony on Sunday, 22nd September, 2023. The wedding, which was attended by the who's who in the country, was a sight to behold.


The Ogbomoso born politician, Hon. Shittu Abdulfatah Olaitan, a contestant for Ogbomoso north, south and oriire federal constituency at the last general election, exchanged vows with his beautiful bride in a traditional Islamic nikkah ceremony. The event was graced by royal fathers, clerics, political heavyweights, friends and associates of the couple.


The nikkah was officiated by renowned Islamic cleric, Sheikh Dr M.T Suleiman, who is also an official of the Supreme Council of Nigeria. In his prayer, he asked for God's blessings upon the newlyweds and prayed for their union to be blessed with the fruit of marriage and long life.

The Grand Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland, Sheikh Teliat Yunus Ayilara, was also present at the ceremony to bless the couple and offer his prayers.


Hon. Shittu Abdulfatah Olaitan, who is known for his philanthropic gestures and dedication to serving his people, expressed his gratitude to everyone who graced the occasion.

The couple's families and friends during the bonding wished them a lifetime of happiness and prosperity as they embark on this new journey together.

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.
