PHOTOS: Captain Ajao officially joins Mulikat in SDP, doles out empowerment.

The Lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South and Orire Federal Constituency, Hon. Captain Ajao Jacob Adejumo has officially defected to the Social Democratic Party.


Ajao’s resignation was contained in a letter addressed to his ward chairman, Aaje/Ogunbado in which a copy was made available to press.

He will be joining Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola who is the party’s senatorial candidate for Oyo North senatorial district.

Ajao is expected to clinch the SDP ticket to contest the 2023 general election for Ogbomoso North, South, Orire Federal Constituency.

It was gathered that he has set aside N350m to spend on the Constituency this year for grant, installation of new transformers, bridge construction, Classrooms, medical outreach among others.

The Vice-Chairman House Committee on Navy was said to have gifted Ogbomoso APC some empowerment items that includes Refrigerators, Sewing Machines, Dryers, Sanitizers, Grinding Machines and Vulcanizing Machines.

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.
