Akala Vanguard support group, of the All Progressive Congress, APC has congratulate the former governor of oyo state, H/E Adebayo Alao Akala over the Thursday's rulling by the appeal court verdict, discharging and acquiting him of the N11.5Bn fraud charges.

APC chieftain in oyo state and Akala's Loyalist Alh Wasiu Olukun, while speaking to InsideOgbomosonews correspondence, has it that, the appeal court ruling is a confirmation both of the perfect will of God and It also reinforces the confidence we have in the judiciary system. 

This is a good development for the advancement of democracy in our nation Nigeria and Africa at large as it goes a long way to pattern true democracy for Africa at large .

Akala's multi-level victory, starting from the high court to the appeal court victory, did not come as a surprise because the case at first has no weight, a popular yoruba saying has it that "Bi iro ba lo ni ogun odun, Ojo kan ni otito yio ba", which was literarily translated, "if lies keep running up for twenty years non stop, the truth will catch up with her one day, thank God the truth did caught up with lies. Olukan says.

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.
