Participant's across Ogbomoso on DAY ONE and TWO of Shittu Olaitan Abede microsoft training were exposed to the foundational knowledges of Microsoft, its tools and its usability, knowing well that digital literacy is more important now than ever. The participants which were all drawn from public and private secondary schools had a robust interactive sessions with their instructors and coaches, on how to utilize the 21st century benefits of machine and design learnings. During the theoretical and Pratical aspect of the training, two active participants, Onuh Perpetual from Federal Government College Ogbomoso, and Abdulmumeen Sikirat from Nurudeen grammar school ogbomoso smiled home with 2 new HP laptops, donated by Shittu Olaitan Abede. In its bid to make the renowned Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH become a conventional university, the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has put plans in top gear for the institution to assume the name Ladoke Akintola University, LAU. This was disclosed by the Oyo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Professor Oyelowo Oyewo SAN to journalists  on Tuesday after the state executive council meeting at the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan. According to him, the state government will forward a bill tagged “Ladoke Akintola University  LAU” amendment bill to the Oyo State House of Assembly. JUST IN: Alao Akala To Be Buried On 18th Of February, Gets Beffiting State Burial.

Alao-Akala's Family annouces burial arrangement of the erstwhile Governor of oyo state. Alao-Akala, to be buried on 18th of February, in his hometown Ogbomoso, Oyo state. The family with the state government disclosed that the lying in state will be held at the house of chiefs, oyo state government Secretariat, Ibadan while the hearse  motorcades depart to Ogbomoso for internment. The five days event in the honor of the former oyo governor, which will commence on 14th of February, tagged "Day of tribute with Political class" will be held at Ibadan, Jogor centre, while the praise night event will be held at his ogbomoso resident on 15th of February.
