Participant's across Ogbomoso on DAY ONE and TWO of Shittu Olaitan Abede microsoft training were exposed to the foundational knowledges of Microsoft, its tools and its usability, knowing well that digital literacy is more important now than ever.
The participants which were all drawn from public and private secondary schools had a robust interactive sessions with their instructors and coaches, on how to utilize the 21st century benefits of machine and design learnings.
During the theoretical and Pratical aspect of the training, two active participants, Onuh Perpetual from Federal Government College Ogbomoso, and Abdulmumeen Sikirat from Nurudeen grammar school ogbomoso smiled home with 2 new HP laptops, donated by Shittu Olaitan Abede.
"What we have today is encouraging, it is an educational empowerment where 21st century digital knowledge and tools where provided for selected participants. We are happy as parents and we pray for more blessing of Almighty God for Shittu Olaitan Abede." This was the statement made by one of the parents in attendance.
One of the Outstanding students while speaking to our correspondence, Onuh Perpetual, said; I am dumbfounded by the outcome of this training as it was beyond my expectations. Within these two days I have learnt a lot on 21st century design skills, I was given certificate of participation, and I got a brand new HP laptop, I am happy and I say thank you to the Organiser of this great event, Mr. Shittu Olaitan Abede for his kind gesture.
The Ogbomoso Born Politician, Shittu Abede, SOA said the initiative grew out of his passion to improve digital literacy and equip youths with the technical skills needed to excel in life, the students' turnout was really encouraging and we must appreciate their respective schools for supporting our vision for this children, the only thing you can do to save our generation from going wayward is to pass necessary knowledge to the young ones; and that is what we are doing here today, we are given them certificate of participation and we are encouraging the performance of some outstanding students with brand new laptops.
