The group chairman and its state cordinator, Engr. Sule Olaide and Mogaji Paul Igbinsola respectively, said that Dotun Sanusi experience in the private sector coupled with his excellent style of leadership has proven him to be the best man to occupy the seat of power in the state in 2027.
According to Olaide, the group, which cut across religious and ethnic barriers, have a
mandate to ensure that Chief Dotun Sanusi contest 2027 governorship election and emerge winner of the poll.
He said emergence of Chief Sanusi as governor of Oyo state in 2027 will open ways for Socio-Economic and Infrastructure development across the state, thereby put the state ahead of other states in the country.
He charged all members of the group across all the 351 wards to start grassroot mobilisation for Chief Sanusi so that every nooks and crannies of the state would be fully aware about him.
On his part, the state coordinator of the group, Paul Igbinsola, said Chief Sanusi, a well-known philanthropist, who had agreed to contest for the number one position in the state. comes 2027, would transform the state if given the opportunity.
Igbinsola urged the group members to be focused and determined in their mobilisation and campaign for Chief Sanusi in ensuring that he emerge as governor of the state in 2027.
The coordinator explained that the group is not attached to a particular political party, saying members cut across all political parties, all religions and all ethnic groups.
He tasked all members to brace up and create awareness and sensitisation on the need for the people of Oyo state to support Chief Dotun Sanusi and vote him as the next governor.
In his brief address, Chief Sanusi while thanking the group members and other organisations that have called him to contest declared that he had heeded to their call.
He urged the group not to relent in giving their unflinching support for his ambition to context and emerge winner of the 2027 governorship election in the state. He, however, said that he's yet to decide on political party platform on which he will contest.
