Shut Up, Dragging SOUN-OGBOMOSO Into your  Religion controversy is insultive, Media Hub Warns Iwo Born Grand-Mufti.


The recent derogatory, provocative and violence inciting remarks made by One Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan on his Facebook page, Qudus TV has come to our attention, the said man from Iwo town has disrespected and insulted the highly revered Soun of Ogbomosoland, labeling the our new monarch as an unbeliever and even going as far as calling him pagan. "Keferi".

As proud sons and daughters of Ogbomoso, we stand united across different religions, both within our homeland and in the diaspora, to condemn such disrespectful behavior. Mr Daood Imran Molaasan comments are not only offensive but also demonstrate a severe lack of understanding and respect for the cultural and religious values that we hold dear.

We want to urge all Islamic leaders in Ogbomoso, including the current Chief Imam, to denounce any individual who seeks to incite violence or discord among the Muslim community in our beloved city. It is crucial that we maintain peace and harmony amongst ourselves, irrespective of our religious beliefs.

Furthermore, we would like to make it abundantly clear that Mr Daood Imran does not represent the sentiments or opinions of the people of Ogbomoso. His disrespectful remarks have caused great distress and have been met with widespread condemnation from all corners of our community.

Sheikh Daood Imran must be reminded that even as the self-proclaimed Mufti, he has no authority to disrespect the Imperial Majesty of Ogbomosoland. We, the people of Ogbomoso, will not tolerate such insolence and disregard for our revered traditional ruler.

Let this letter serve as a cautionary message to Sheikh Daood Imran. We kindly request him to refrain from involving himself in matters concerning Ogbomoso. We are  peace-loving people, and we will not allow any individual or controversial character to tarnish the reputation of our great city.

We trust that other respected Islamic leaders in Ogbomoso, will take appropriate action against Sheikh Daood's disrespectful behavior and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. It is imperative that we foster an environment of respect, understanding, and unity within our land.

We warned Sheikh Imran Daood to immediately cease and desist from dragging, hurling allege abuses and attacks on His Imperial Majesty, the Olu Sóun of Ogbomosoland, the disrespect of the throne of His Imperial Majesty, the soun is an affront, disrespectful, disheartening, insultive and provocative.

Sheikh Daood must tender an apology to the highly respected monarch who is one of the most respected Federal Monarch’s in Nigeria, who is a member of Council Of Nigeria Traditional Rulers (NTRC) which is the Apex Council of all Traditional Rulers in the country”. You're adviced.
