On the occasion of the 2023 Daniel Ayoola Dare Foundation Day, Chief Sunday Dare CON.FNIS, who is the Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland and the former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, has once again demonstrated his commitment to community service by donating 5000 bags of rice and ten solar powered kiosks to the people of Ogbomosoland.

The generous donations were made on Saturday, July 15th, 2023, and were distributed to various beneficiaries, including religious organizations, youth groups, and the less privileged in society across the five Local Government Areas of Ogbomosoland - Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Oriire, Ogo Oluwa, and Surulere. Importantly, the donations were made without any consideration of party affiliation.

Speaking at the event held at Doxology Villa in Maryland Oke Aanu Area of Ogbomoso, Barrister Sulyman Dawud Abẹsẹ, the representative of Chief Sunday Dare, expressed gratitude to the people of Ogbomosoland for their unwavering support during his tenure as Minister. He emphasized that the gesture was a token of Chief Dare's appreciation and a way to give back to the community.

The bags of rice will provide much-needed sustenance to families in need, while the solar powered kiosks will empower young entrepreneurs to start small-scale businesses such as fast-food outlets, barber shops, fabric stores, tailoring shops, and hair and beauty salons.

The beneficiaries of Chief Dare's generosity expressed their heartfelt gratitude and commended him for consistently making a positive impact on the lives of the people of Ogbomosoland, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole. They prayed for his continued blessings and success in all his endeavors.

The Daniel Ayoola Dare (DAD) Foundation, established by Chief Sunday Dare in honor of his late father, Mr. Daniel Akin Dare, aims to make a difference in society and humanity at large. Over the years, the foundation has provided scholarships, conducted free medical programs and eye treatments, and offered financial and vocational empowerment to indigenes of Ogbomosoland, Oyo State, and Nigeria.

Chief Sunday Dare's dedication to community service and his commitment to uplifting the marginalized make him a true asset to Ogbomosoland and beyond. His generosity and compassion continue to inspire others to make a positive impact in their communities.
