The much anticipated first Ogbomoso Economic Summit begins on Wednesday, November 23 and ends on November 24, 2022.
The summit, which would feature CEO Conference, Pre-schedule face-to-face meetings with investors and trade exhibitions will cover such areas as industrialization, Agric-Industrial Processing, Education, Housing, Hotel and Tourism, and Security.
A press statement by Benjamin Onigbinde, President, of Ogbomoso Business Roundtable, said the summit would bring together business leaders, policymakers, financial experts, professionals, investors, development agencies and entrepreneurs.
Onigbinde, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Sigvent Property Trust Limited, said the discussion which is designed to stimulate economic growth of the second biggest economy in Oyo State will be led by Prince Dapo Oyewumi in conversation with Mr Lanre Fasanya, Professor Banji Oyelaran-Oyeyinka, Barrister Akin Akintola and Mr Bode Afolayan.
He said Oyewumi, Afolayan, Fasanya would speak on Ogbomoso’s Economic Development.
He also said the summit which is expected to revitalize the economy of the city would have an amalgamation of various business sectors including attachments, adding that other discussions will focus on the development of cashew business chains, from seedling, planting, marketing and Processing.
