2023: Tinubu is sellable, acceptable, Canvass for him, says YOOFAS's patron

The patron of the Yoruba Oke-Oya fun Asiwaju-Shettima, YOOFAS, Alhaji Mansur Ejide has said the Presidential candidate of the All progressives congress( APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is acceptable, sellable due to his track records, hence, every well meaning Nigerian should canvass for him.

Ejide stated this when he received the YOOFAS national executives and all the 19 northern states coordinators, who paid him a  courtesy visit at his residence in Abuja on Friday. 

According to him, "YOOFAS is a strong voice in northern Nigeria today, before you came here i have heard of your efforts in canvasing our kinsmen for the great mandate at hand.

"I want to encourage you to keep hope alive, keep talking and mobilizing electorates, our presidential candidate is acceptable by all, he is marketable and sellable", he said. 

Speaking earlier, the Director General of YOOFAS, Hon. AbdulFattah Shittu hinted on the extent of works done by the Tinubu support group, YOOFAS, across all the 19 northern states of the country.  

His words, "We have come to update you and also to seek your fatherly counsel. Every state in the region are represented here today.  we have our peculiarities and we want to present our next scope of operation to you, so we can have a take home". 

Part of the delegations are, DG, YOOFAS, Hon.Shittu AbdulFatah; National Coordinator, Mr Femi Sunday, National Women leader,Alhaja Toyibat, Legal adviser, Barrister Dawud Suleiman, National Secretary, Abubakar Muhammed among others.

Fire Accident Claims Lives of LAUTECH Final Year Students on Excursion

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, September 27, as the students were making their way back from the excursion.
