Minister Dare Facilitate SGR Free Grains Distribution To Oyo State, begins distributions.

President Muhammadu Buhari has mandated that  immediately release food grains be released to cushion the effect of the rising food prices, over 40 metric tonnes of grains would be released from the Strategic Grains Reserves (SGR).

The Honourable Minister for youths and sport development, Chief Sunday Dare Facilitated the distribution of the food grains to Oyo state, the distribution of truck loads of assorted grains were flagged off at Ogbomosò and Ibadan to other part of the state, representing the Honourable minister at the food distribution in Ogbomoso are Chief Ademola Olawale (AGBADEMO), Hon.Sola Kolawole, other present are the APC Party Chairman of Ogbomoso North Alhaji Raheem Agunyanmole, Mr Kamaru Ajiboye (Topatose) Ogbomoso South APC party chairman, Mr. Olagunju Joel Ogo-Oluwa APC Party Chairman, Hon. Bode APC Surulere Party Chairman, Chief Adewale Moleru APC state Exco member and Party Chieftains among others.

One of the beneficiaries, Mr kunle Ojo, while speaking to our correspondence appreciate the intervention of the Honourable Minister who is so much concern with the welfare of his people, Another beneficiary Mr Ibrahim Kilani from Ogbomoso Parapo youth wing, express his appreciations, " good number of people are now in a situation where they do not know where their next meal will come from" this food distribution is timely and we  appreciate the Honourable Minister for this project, he concluded.

Fire Accident Claims Lives of LAUTECH Final Year Students on Excursion

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, September 27, as the students were making their way back from the excursion.
