Winner emerges in maiden Sunday Dare youth tennis competition at Ogbomoso

It was fun and palpable excitement in atmosphere of creativity at the maiden edition of DAD Foundation youths table tennis competition, a table tennis contest that focuses on promoting excellence in table tennis game, by advancing the youths engagement in sport activities and professions was held today at the newly constructed DAD Foundation Sport Arena Ogbomoso.

In attendance at the colourful sport event, are  Honourable Minister for youths and sport Sunday Dare, committee of friends and associates, director for sport in Nigeria, the president of Ogbomoso community youths forum, Rev Peter Olaleye, Mr Gaddafi, Mr Tunji Olaniyi, Chief Igbokwe  Ikenumba, Dr. Akinwunmi Akintola, and the representative of Soun's palace, the Olubere of Ogbomoso, among others.

     1st Runner up, Akeem Amao, Barr Akintola

At the delightful competition, Femi Bolaji was declared winner, while Akeem Amao came second, and Amos Ayomide won the under 15 division, respectively.

The events which started on 20th of January, has it participants from the five local government areas of Ogbomoso zone.

Sunday Dare, in his statement says it is important to put our youths on the map so they can compete in Olympics, and world games, we will encourage more youth or anyone interested or curious to learn and explore he gathers.

The winners of the maiden DAD foundation tennis compensations, went home with cash prize and golden trophies.
