WHY I ORGANISED OGBOMOSO HANGOUT- CONVENER, ADEYEMO ELIJAH.

           Ogbomoso Hangout, Convener.

I have the honour and privilege to welcome you all to the first edition of Ogbomoso hangout, My name is "Adeyemo Elijah Oludele", the Convener of this social gathering, comprising reputable, smart and intelligent youths of Ogbomosoland under the Umbrella of my change making initiative, "Delight Initiative" I want to say a very warmth welcome to you all.

Firstly, I want to humbly say this that, if you're here today, I say a big congratulations to you, the application process for attending this event was rigorous, and it was purely by merit, hundreds of persons applies, even with the less publicity, we tried to make this change makers gathering a closed one, yet hundreds of applications we're received between 48 hours of media leverage awareness, this is to say the power of media is a force to reckon with.

I was so happy and encouraged, on how some Ogbomoso youths behaves and conducts themselves during the registration periods, while few did make us proud, many disappointed me, why? many were asking how much are we sharing after the gathering thinking it's a political sponsored movements! Lol.

"Adeyemo Elijah" is committed to Ogbomoso course, I'm fully soled out to anything that matters to this city, I don't have anywhere to go, my parents, both paternal and maternal all hails from this ancient city, anything that matters to the interest of the masses and public is my lifestyle, I believes in the capacity of Ogbomoso vibrant youths, to ride on their respective potential, to change the narrations of this town and make Ogbomoso a better place for all.

Our objective therefore, is to create and nourish a platform that will re-orient fellow youths in  Ogbomoso hence, our task is to make the above possible by selling ourselves out to this great mission, Just to let you know that we mean business, we are honoured to have the presence of senior friends and higly reputable youths in Ogbomoso here today, those who are digital skills experts, we have those working with many international bodies, utilizing their soft skills to earning in hard currencies and in effecting positive changes, let us be prepared, relaxed and learn. do not be in a rush as we’ve got you covered to leave better than you came.

Today, each and everyone of us is a member and hence Ogbomoso ambassadors, fell free to connect, relate and network, you don't have the lincense to predict or forecast how far "This Ogbomoso youths change makers hangout can go".

In conclusion, I hereby encourage us to utilized our respective God's given talent in promoting and effecting change to our immidiate environment, expecially Ogbomoso city which is our first home. Sometimes in late 2019 I lost 2 of my close allies to bad roads within Ogbomoso axis, at some points I was terrified and frightened on what to do, hence I engaged my bleeding pen to address the state governor in an open letter on why some of our roads in Ogbomoso need an overhaul reconstruction and rehabilitation, stating that, it being long we had a taste of Good roads in this city, emphasising how youth with promising future lost their dear lives to bad roads and how our younger ones in primary and secondary schools are exposed to road accident after closing, because of narrow roads without pedestrian path.

Lo and behold, the open letter was accepted and given an urgent action, the 3km LAUTECH-STADIUM - UNDER G road was reconstructed and electrified. Mission Accomplished!!! that is the power of youths as change makers and the strength that lies within our respective pen and voices.

I strongly believe, history will be kind to us all, and whatever we do will speak later in life, this is one of the many things I have pushed and achieve as a change makers in this city, many are the communities we have advocated for, by reaching their respective legislators and representatives at the helm of affairs, to aid their current predicaments, i have spoken for communities to get transformers, Motorized Boreholes, road constructions and road gradings among other, as a matter of fact, myself and some others like-minded youths in this city are sold out to a mission of INDUSTRIALIZING OGBOMOSO, it doesn't matter the size of the firm or company, we are in talk and we are engaging them already ofcourse; all of this achievement lies within my immidiate environment which is the Ogbomoso city.
