Photos: Makinde Visit Soun's Palace, Apologises For Coming Late

Early hour of Monday January 10th, Governor Makinde and entourage paid a condolences visit to Aafin Ogbomoso,which is the palace of the late first class mornach, while at the palace the governor apologises for identifying lately with the people of Ogbomoso, though entourage has being sent earlier by the state government.

In his remarks, the governor also said, some notable Ogbomoso leaders advices him to stay back Abit from coming to ogbomoso when the monarch died, and also to give a state beffiting burial to baba, furthermore he stated that "Kabiyesi would be sorely missed for his contributions to Ogbomoso, Oyo State and Nigeria. Kabiyesi was known as a forthright and honest ruler who spoke truth to power. Our plan is to give Kabiyesi a befitting state burial for his 40th day prayers, says makinde."

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.
