Rtd Air Vice Marshal, Chief Bolaji Adigun,the akogun of Ogbomosoland, through his NGO Ayoka Foundation offers great support to the Ogbomoso marathon race team, in realising the marathon 2021.

The Ayoka Foundation which has been existing for over ten years is known for all kinds of philanthropist gesture in assisting and providing succor to the indigents, the disables and community development projects, Chief Bolaji Adigun while speaking to InsideOgbomosonews correspondence emphatically buttress that." His meeting with the Ogbomoso marathon race committee is pivotal, stressing that it is important to encourage the team,in other to actualize the mandate of the team, so we have agreed to continue to support Ogbomoso marathon race team,  as this will further boost the interest of youths to sport across oyo state and Nigeria". 

The chairman marathon race committee and event initiator, Prince Aderemi Oyebamiji Joy, while thanking Ayoka Foundation for their huge support stressed that, the maiden edition wouldn't have been successful if not for several supports from lover of sports in the nation, in his speech he restate that the Ogbomoso marathon race team got the swift approval to hold the marathon event yearly from Athletic federation of Nigeria AFN, through the intervention and the support of the Minister for Youth and sports Development, Hon Sunday Dare, and host of other support.


Meanwhile, InsideOgbomosonews media house earlier reported that the 10Km and 5Km Ogbomoso marathon race and adult trek category will come up on 30th of October, in Ogbomoso city, plying the approved routes.
