BSA foundation commissioned another motorized borehole to akunko environs and equally donated power generator to power community water supply, the statements sent to InsideOgbomosonews through his media office read thus.

Booda Sunday Adeyemo, through his foundation, and his continuous strides towards positively touching lives of the masses, has again commissioned another motorized borehole in Akunko area of Ogbomoso South Local Government Area.

Speaking, The House of Assembly hopeful for the 2023 elections said the project is aimed at ensuring his people get portable water which he believes will reduce the reoccurrence of water-borne diseases in the area and further support the Engr Seyi Makinde led administration.

Speaking during the commissioning of the borehole, one of the residents of the area; Mrs Adeoba Iyabo said they have been in dire need of clean and potable water for the past six years.

She narrates how they used to trek many meters to fetch water from the nearby wells, recounting the health challenges that it has posed on the community over the years. Mrs Iyabo expressed her joy and happiness now that they have clean and potable water at their doorsteps,  courtesy of Booda Sunday Adeyemo Foundation.

He equally donated a generating set to power the renovated borehole.

Fire Accident Claims Lives of LAUTECH Final Year Students on Excursion

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, September 27, as the students were making their way back from the excursion. The ill-fated bus carrying the students was involved in an accident that resulted in a fire outbreak along the Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo road in Osun State.
