EiD KABIR: JUBILATION AS MAKINDE PAYS JULY SALARY.

On 16th of July, Civil servants in Oyo state across all levels  received their July salary, this includes the civil servants in their categories and staff of all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the state.

This however is not unconnected from the Eid-Kabir celebration that will be observed by the Muslim Faithfuls, the governor in turn has done this to make sure the Muslims civil servants celebrate well with their families.

The govenor earlier said this gestures are within his Campaign promise to prioritize workers welfare within the state,he applauded civil servants for their support and pledged his government’s resolve to ensure it enhances their working conditions.

Fire Accident Claims Lives of LAUTECH Final Year Students on Excursion

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, September 27, as the students were making their way back from the excursion. The ill-fated bus carrying the students was involved in an accident that resulted in a fire outbreak along the Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo road in Osun State.
