The Content.ng online blog in an encounter with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare about 48 hours to the gubernatorial election sought a reaction from him about perceived political squabbles with the APC governorship candidate Teslim Folarin.

The Minister reacted thus, “ Senator Folarin and myself are on talking terms. Not fighting terms. Simple. As early as four days ago we spoke. There are people with a different agenda trying to push a counter-narrative.

There will be time to confront them after the elections are over. For now, I am rooting for all three APC governorship candidates in the Southwest -Babajide Sanwoolu, Dapo Abiodun, and Teslim Folarin.

I am also focused on closing out on the major policy initiatives of mine as Minister of Youth and Sports as we wind down”.

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.
