SCORECARD: Empowerments A Potent Weapon Against Poverty- Hon. Jacob Bamigboye Empowers Oriire Constituents

Oriire state constituency witnessed another super mega empowerment as Member representating Oriire State  constituency, Hon. Jacob Abidoye Bamigboye empowers youths, and women in his constituency with viable economic sustainability tools. The annual mega empowerment programme was held at Ikoyi-Ile, the Oriire Headquarters.

Constituents were empowered with various economic and business tools which are; Sewing machines, deep freezers, grinding machinee, power generators, industrial sewing machines, farming knapsaks, mechanical tools, vulcanising machines,  tricycles, gas stoves, cylinders and related economic tools, overtime several communities has benefited just as Gbogun community benefited From his gesture as he donated 200,000 naira to aid the community project, Hon. Jacob Abidoye Bamigboye has empowered 200 persons who are  his constituents through the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) to stimulate economic growth and wealth creation.

Over 15 communities have benefited from his industrial borehole projects sunk at various communities, in order to improve the standard of living and access to clean water, this project has goofed several millions of naira, However, the apex part of his super several empowerments programme was the distribution of tricycles to constituents,mostly who are youths of Oriire state constituency, This is believed to reduce massive unemployment facing youths not only in Oriire, but across the country says Hon. Jacob Bamigboye

Speaking at the event, hon Jacob Bamigboye addressed all beneficiaries in making good use of what they have gotten. Speaking further, the Senatorial party Chairman, Hon. Tunde Oloyede appreciates Hon. Jacob Bamigboye for projecting the good image of the party, APC. According to him, Hon. Bamigboye is significantly delivering on the mandate of APC as championed by the at the national level. You have been among the few elected politicians giving hope to people and electorates about our party APC. You are delivering and  lifting as many of your constituents  as possible out of poverty. “I want to admonish our Leaders, most especially at the ward level to ensure that many electorates benefits. We should allow majority of all to feel the impacts of these laudable empowerment programmes as sponsored by Hon. Jacob Bamigboye” – Hon. Tunde Oloyede posited.

Again In his own address, he furthered appealed to  Governor Seyi Makinde through the office of his Special Assistant on Security to direct Security Agencies including Amotekun to beef up security at the Old Oyo National Park as well as Yawota village in the Constituency. the call became imperative following a strange occurrence in the village recently, in my capacity I have supported amotekun but we need more of their reinforcement.

“I want you all to know that we did empowerment programmes for our people in Oriire state constituency all-year round and across various spectrum. Up till date thousands of constituents have been empowered since we came on board, both directly and indirectly, and much more will be done in 2023 by God’s grace” – Hon. Jacob Bamigboye said. I appreciate our Leaders and party faithfuls here present and also congratulates all beneficiaries” – He noted.

The event was well attended by party leaders, stakeholders, members and other party loyalists of All Progressives Congress (APC) notably amongst whom are the Senatorial  Chairman of APC, Hon. Tunde Oloyede; APC Cheiftain in Oyo State, Prince Wasiu Olukan, Party Leaders in Ogbomoso Zone and Oriire State Constituencies and several others including the leadership of the religion and traditional organizations.
