Ogbomoso Parapo Youths In Oriire LG Laud Sunday Dare On N475 Million Sport Complex Project In Ogbomoso 

Says Community Sport Complex Will Bring Employment Opportunities to the Youths

The Ogbomoso Parapọ̀ Youth Wing of Oriire Local Government has hailed the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare, for facilitating the construction of Community Sports Complex at ikoyi-ile Oriire LG.

Members of the youth group made this known today, through their Chairman Mr. Adegboye Matthew Babatunde.

Mr. Adegboye Matthew Babatunde, who led the members of the group to the site of the project, lauded the magnanimity, deep sense of belonging and high level consideration given to Oriire LG, to the extent of bringing such huge project to their domain.

The Oriire LG Chairman and members of Ogbomoso Parapo Youth Wing were in the company of the Chairman Parapo Elderly Group Oriire, Chief Akintola Ojo.

In his words, "the stadium will serve as employment opportunities for the youth and it will also promote sports development in the area", Mr. Adegboye Matthew Babatunde said.

He however urged the Federal Government to please fastrack the completion, so that the people of Ogbomosoland can start enjoying the accrued benefits that will come with the project, in all sectors.

Recalled that, on Friday 2nd December 2022, Chief Sunday Dare laid the foundation for the construction of a Community Sports Complex at ikoyi-ile Oriire LG.

The project worth of the Community Sports Complex is ₦475 million Naira, with approved  2 years funding schedule.

The Community Sports Complex at ikoyi-ile Oriire LG, is another big project, in addition to the numerous projects facilitated by the Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland over the years.
