Sport Minister, Dare Celebrates Ariwoola, Adelabu, Ogunesan, Other National Awardees From Oyo State

Federal Minister For Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Akin Dare has congratulated indigenes of Oyo State who received National Honours and recognition. 


In a statement released by the office of the Honorable Minister who represents Oyo State, he said he is proud of the illustrious indigenes of his state whomPresident Muhammadu Buhari chose to honour, saying that they are deserving of the national recognition they have received. 

“ I congratulate my brothers and sister from Oyo State who were all honored by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari having distinguished themselves in their various careers and services to the nation. 



I specially congratulate the Hon. Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola on his receipt of the honor of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON). His contribution to the judiciary as a legal luminary, is recognized throughout the nation. My congratulations equally extends to

Fire Accident Claims Lives of LAUTECH Final Year Students on Excursion

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, September 27, as the students were making their way back from the excursion. The ill-fated bus carrying the students was involved in an accident that resulted in a fire outbreak along the Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo road in Osun State.
