Today, I played host to our dear former minister, Barr. Adebayo Shittu, who stopped at the office  at the State Secretariat, on early arrival for Senator Teslim Folarin’s declaration. I reiterated our need for peace and unity in the party. This is a dispensation that keeps an open door to every single member of our great party, irrespective of caucus or leanings. All aspirants are enjoined to please freely come by the secretariat to satisfy whatever needs, enquiries or requests. I am aot your service.
I was also in the company of Senator Fatai Buhari, Hon Bolaji Afeez Repete, Hon Sadipe, Hon
Akinremi jagaban, former commissioner Alhaji Dauda wasiu,  Hon Yunus Akíntúndé, former minister Barr Adebayo Shittu and host of others  at the formal declaration of Senator Teslim Folarin for the office of governor in the company of our newly minted Senator Kola Balogun. The gubernatorial aspirant gave the party a brand new bus and the handsome sum of NGN 5 million to fuel it. It is also my privilege to announce that the Labour Party in Oyo State is now officially APC as all members are now with us and they have officially received our party flag.

The final programme outline for the official coronation ceremony of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, has been released. Fire Accident Claims Lives of LAUTECH Final Year Students on Excursion

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, September 27, as the students were making their way back from the excursion. The ill-fated bus carrying the students was involved in an accident that resulted in a fire outbreak along the Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo road in Osun State. The details surrounding the accident remain unclear at this time, leaving the university community and the affected families in a state of shock and grief.
