REBUTTALS: APC Leaders, Denied Endorsing Wumi Oladeji As The Concensus Candidate for Ogbomoso North Constituency.

Contrary to the false news going round in APC Ogbomoso zone, no leader ratified or chooses Hon. Wunmi Oladeji as the party flag bearer for 2023, house of assembly in Ogbomoso North.

Oyomind news reported that, the 2 term state Honourable, who is seeking the return ticket in the all progressive congress APC platform, won the last election under the auspices of action democratic party ADP, is rumoured to have been picked for the return ticket by the parties stakeholders in the zone, is nothing but pure error in information dissemination.

A trusted sources within the APC reveals to our correspondence that APC in Ogbomoso zone has three major blocs or tendecies, and their stakeholders have all agreed to share the available elective posts respectively ahead the primaries, which make Sen. Fatai Buhari bloc to seek it return ticket as a third term senator unanimously, while the Akala Bloc chaired by Sen. Brymo Yusuf, chooses Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala over the incumbent Capt. Jacob Ajao as the consensus candidate, and the Unity forum of the progressive bloc, of Pa-Olorode as the APC Ogbomoso zonal leader, Honourable Minister for youths and sport development, Chief Sunday Dare are to produce the state assembly candidate respectively.
The source who pleaded on condition of anonymity, faulted the claims that Hon. Wumi Oladeji has secured the return ticket says, it is all a political gimmick and noise that does not hold water, hon. wumi is from ward 3 and her predecessor is also from same ward 3, it is unfair if ward 3 will have 16 years and other wards in the constituency have nothing, so the upcoming primaries is just a demonstration and affirmation of the consensus agreement by the leaders across tendecies and blocs in APC Ogbomoso Zone, he affirms.
