Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Visit Alao-Akala's Family, Attends Soun's Burial Thanksgiving In Ogbomoso.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Sunday, January 23 visited the family of the former governor of oyo state, Late Alao-Akala, in his entourage the governor of oyo state, Legislative members among others, after the thanksgiving service in honour of the monarch the soun of Ogbomosoland  Oba oladunni Oyewunmi, the Soun of Ogbomoso at Oke-elerin baptist Church.

Osinbajo said the former governor lived an exemplary life, adding that he would be remembered for the good roles he played in the lives of many people within and outside Oyo state, while addressing the family and political associate of the former governor in his Ogbomoso resident, osinbajo emphasis the generosity of the late governor.

"Long before i became a professor of law, i have known our dear uncle Adebayo Alao Akala, anytime i think about him i smile because he was a very special being"

Professor oyelowo Oyewo was my link to him he was his nephew so then if we needed a little pocket money we find a way of getting to our dear uncle even long before he became governor of oyo state, otunba Adebayo  was amongst the top few people I first contacted when I was nominated as VP candidate of the APC in 2015.

Akala is exceedingly generous, his dealth is touching, I pray for the children, wives and close relatives, you will be greater than he was, and all his aspirations you will be fulfilled, the vice president concluded.

Fire Accident Claims Lives of LAUTECH Final Year Students on Excursion

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.
