The annual Christmas events, 13th of it kind was witness by Oyo APC Gladiators, InsideOgbomosonews correspondence reported that, Well wishers in their thousands storms the Opadoyin's Akala lodge, Randa ogbomoso on 25th to celebrate with the former governor and Oyo APC, advisory Council leader Chairman.

Present at the events are, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, Sen Brimo Yusuf, Sen Fatai Buhari, Sen Teslim Folarin, Hon Odebunmi Bunvic, Hon Jacob Ajao, Hon Akin Alabi, Hon Isaac Omodewu, Hon wumi Oladeji, among others.

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, September 27, as the students were making their way back from the excursion. The ill-fated bus carrying the students was involved in an accident that resulted in a fire outbreak along the Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo road in Osun State.
