Hon.Afolabi Olushola Joshua AFOO  have commiserated the family of the departed king of Ogbomosoland Oba (Dr) Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III JP CON CFR, which sad event took place early Sunday  morning.

In a condolence message personally signed by the his media Director, and made available to newsmen the late monarch was described as a legend who would be sorely missed by Nigeria and Ogbomoso people in particular.

It was noted that Oba Oladunni Oyewumi really impacted the world with his landmark achievements asserting he was a monarch that would consistently occupy a place of pride in the annals of leadership in Ogbomosoland.

“We are shocked by the demise of our amiable Kabiyesi, Oba (Dr) Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, JP, CON, CFR, who transited sunday morning at the age of 95 years.
”Nigeria will miss him greatly and Ogbomoso people in general for his exceptional leadership role . 

“He’s a legend, a unique man whose exploits will never be erased from history. He did so much for his domain and people. There is no doubt he has etched his name in gold.”
The message further prayed that God would grant the family and the people of Ogbomoso in general the fortitude to bear the loss.
In addition he commiserated the families, Ogbomosoland, Oyo State and Nigeria at Large.
“We will miss his wise counsels, his knowledge, his bravery, foresightedness and indomitable attitude. May his soul rest in peace.”

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.
