Athletes who are willing to participate in the October 30th Ogbomosoland Marathon Race 2021, has been advised to complete their registration processes and submit their registration forms.

Prince Aderemi, while addressing the press spoke on the necessity why all participants are enjoined to submit their forms; both Online and Offline in other to collate all applications before the form closes on 22nd of October, such that those who submitted their registration forms will proceed to medical briefing from professional medical personnels & security summit with all security agencies and FRSC men across board.

In his statement, the medical briefing which has been scheduled for 25th of October will be centered on medical orientation with all participating athletes and medical check-ups, however every interested and intending marathon athletes were advice to go for personal check-ups to revalidate their health status.

The 2021 edition of Ogbomosoland marathon race has recorded far above (3,550) forms both Online and Offline applications which includes 10km race, 5km race and oldies walk section, he concluded by seeking more supports from all and sundry, most importantly from Individuals, and all Ogbomoso social groups & clubs at home and diaspora.

Fire Accident Claims Lives of LAUTECH Final Year Students on Excursion

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, September 27, as the students were making their way back from the excursion.
