OPINION: N5.5 BILLION ADAMASHINGBA STADIUM, WHO TO BLAME.written by Adeyemo Elijah.O

Following a viral trending videos which exposed the shoddy execution and renovation of the adamasingba stadium in ibadan oyo state, I cannot help but cry FOUL! Cheap labour and shoddy structures with the life span of a gastrotrich.
The N5.5 billion Naira project which money was solely from Loans and deficit was tagged substandard by many observers has drawn a contention line between Governor makinde "Hallelujah singers and set of fellows who thinks something is wrong somewhere".

This Project has been tagged differently by observers, as Riverpool,Omiyale, Omiya-stadium among others as the players are reportedly swimming in the pitch due to the bad water drainage system, Governor makinde reportedly left the stadium when the water levels intensifies, and spectators could no longer sit comfortably as many part of the stadium roof got leaking.
My Opinion is borne out of the fact that, no man wishes to buy a new car and have the engine oil leaking out the first day of uses.

WHO TO BLAME!
This sets of people are very known to all and sundry, they are in the street walking like a sheep but are ravenous wolfs, seeking to disrupt and milk dry the progress of our state, called CONTRACTORS! this individuals and firms has the propensity to deliver nonsense to the masses after being served and entrusted with money of the state, we cry loud for sustainable development, quality and not Quantity, this criminals perpetuating this evil fills their pocket with monies meant for projects, many of them has done this and go free, WILL THIS ALSO ROUTE SAME?

GOVERNMENT.
Greatest is attained when you serve genuinely and not by how much you stole either directly or indirectly! Our approach to eliminate loopholes must be revisited, when we seize from taking Kickbacks and stop awarding carpentery works to mechanics bacause of our relationships with them then we're on the part to success.

Covetousness is a sin. all religions in Oyo state teaches that!

Our various religions teaches her people this doctrine, then have we forgotten good name is better than gold and silver? We mustn't forget only wealths acquires legitimately is a blessing to the owner coupled with facts that they will not go with us to eternity. The leaking Parts of Newly refurbished Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan

Glreed kills,it is an atrocity and the outcome is devastating, the government in power must rise above bribes and kickbacks from Contractors doing bad jobs, both the government and the contractors must pay back every kobo not properly accounted for; sooner than later, Oyo state government may award N500 million- N1 billion Naira for the completion of same Adamasingba Stadium! We're already in huge debt.

COMMONERS.
Lack of patriotism and Nonchalant attitude is the order the day, I hope you read this with an open mind, and see how Oyo state was projected in mud even on the first day of our stadium commissioning and stop singing "Hallelujah chorus" when issues as this should be subjected to probes!

Nothing is normal! It's not normal to have a stadium flooded with water, this can only happen when the water drainage system is bad or below expectations, the roofs leaking can only be connected to bad jobs done and bad sheets used, when this things happens in Western world they are sanctioned for it and we see the public probes, now it happens to us on our first day of novelty match and commissioning it attract shame and we must get every hand in this,QUESTIONED...!

To this end, oyo state cannot affords to borrow another fund for the completion of the leaking and flooded stadium, rather we seek that every of the mismanaged and stolen kobo should be refunded, the rains had exposed the lies, as our stadium could not withstand the rains. a N5.5bn project without a pitch that can withstand the rains? It’s all a sham. What a shame.
