Engr Muftau Open Salawu  FNSE, Waziri Jari Nupe, Babalaje of Ogbomosoland officially commissioned the Central Mosque he built for Olokoto Community in Orire Local Government, Ogbomoso.

The Ogbomoso born business tycoon and politician, while Commissioning the modern mosque built for the community today Wednesday urged the users to make use of it for spiritual development and learning more about Islam.

The former Special adviser to Gov Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi added that “The house of God is meant to develop us and enrich us with the knowledge of God. I give glory to God Almighty who gave us the opportunity to witness the commissioning and may we make use of it judiciously to earn the reward of Allah”.

He concluded by thanking them for their supports and told the user of the mosque to sustain the purpose of the mosque, which is to worship Allah. And ensure that the Mosque is always clean and avoid doing anything contrary to the will of Allah.

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.
