Hoodlums Invade Ogbomoso, Vandalise Cars, Other Property [PHOTOS] Some suspected hoodlums have invaded Ogbomoso town in Oyo State and destroyed cars, houses and other property worth millions of naira. DAILY POST report that the suspects invaded the town in the early hours of Wednesday. The hoodlums wreaked havoc in some parts of Ogbomoso including Aaje, Exchange, Ladanu and Ijeru areas. The suspects according to sources invaded the areas around 12am on Wednesday and operated for many hours destroying houses, cars and other property. SOURCE gathered from indigenes of the town that the family house of former lawmaker, Jacob Adejumo Ajao, located at Eleruko compound, was also destroyed. Ajao represented the Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency located at Eleruko compound. Two water tanks, one belonging to a trader at Exchange area and the other belonging to Aaje Primary Health Centre were reportedly removed and burnt by the hoodlums. The Governing Council of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has appointed Professor of Art and Art History, Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, as the new Acting Vice-Chancellor of the institution for six months.   Kalilu joined the services of LAUTECH on September 1, 1992 and was pronounced a Professor of Arts and Arts History in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, 24 years ago on October 1, 1999.
