Traffic built up gradually on monday at takie Ogbomoso City square, at the roundabout following an accident involving a diesel tanker. The tanker fell, which occurred on monday, took place at Ogbomoso City roundabout takie axis. Although no life was lost, the tanker conveying its content to northern Nigeria, spilling its content on the road, while the security personnels and fire service men have swiftly attended to the diesel spilt in order to avoid Fire outbreak in the Commercial environment. Also, men of the Nigeria Police Force, Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Oyo State Traffic management Authority (OYTMA) And Fire Service personnels were at the scene to control the building traffic and restore calm. However people plying the route has being advice to bypass the arena and use other alternative routes. The Management of LAUTECH Teaching Hosptal, Ogbomoso has frowned at a disturbing event which took place at the Accident and Emergency Unit of the hospital on Sunday, Spetember 25th. A doctor of the hospital( names witheld) was allegedly beaten black and blue by the security aides of one Mr Femi Onireti, an upcoming politician in Oyo State.  The Management of the hospital, who decried the development said it was uncharitable for anyone to threaten or bully medical personnel in the line of duty. The management which noted with dismay the unfriendly and thuggery attitude of Mr Onireti, added that such attitude was capable of putting the lives of medical staff in jeopardy. The Management, while warning and imploring the politician and other members of the community to desist from interfering in the protocol involving patient management, maintained that Mr Onireti must apologize to the hospital and the victim of their assault in the hospital.
