Former Minister Sunday Dare Mourns Oyo APC Chair, Describe Omodewu a True Patriot

The immediate past Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Akinlabi Dare CON FNIS, has expressed his heartfelt shock over the sudden demise of Barr Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oyo state.

Barrister Omodewu reportedly passed away in the United States on Sunday after battling an undisclosed illness. His death has sent shockwaves throughout the political landscape of Oyo state, with many describing it as a monumental loss for the APC, which is currently in the process of repositioning.

In a statement released to InsideOgbomoso correspondence, Chief Dare described the news of Barrister Omodewu's death as unfortunate, noting that his passing is a significant blow to the APC in Oyo state. He condoled with Omodewu's family, leaders, and members of the APC over his demise.

Chief Dare praised Barrister Omodewu as a consummate politician, patriotic, and hardworking public servant who served Oyo state with dedication. He noted that Omodewu's contributions to the development of Oyo state and the APC would be deeply missed.

"It's with shock and sadness that I received the news of the sudden demise of our brother and friend, Barrister Isaac Omodewu, the Chairman of our great party in Oyo state," Chief Dare said. "He was a consummate politician, patriotic, and hardworking public servant who served Oyo state well. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the members and executives of APC, family, friends, and associates of Barrister Isaac Omodewu. May God Almighty forgive his shortcomings and grant him peaceful rest."
