The lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South, and Orire Federal Constituency, Hon.Ajao Jacob Adejumo, has distributed Christmas Package ahead this year Christmas Celebration for the less privilege in the Constituency. The programs which came up yesterday, 23rd of December, at Akala Party Zonal Office, Apake where over 500 beneficiaries, went home with thier package, which includes, Food Items and Cash gift. NNPC PRESENTS CHEQUES WORTH 621 BILLION NAIRA FOR CRITICAL ROAD REHABILITATION INCLUDING OYO-OGBOMOSO ROAD, AND OTHERS.

The NNPC had handed over a symbolic cheque of N621.24 Billion for the rehabilitation of 21 critical roads across the country through the Road Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme under the Executive Order 7 signed by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019. INSIDEOGBOMOSO, reports that the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, said, “NNPC is not taking over our roads, NNPC is not constructing roads, NNPC is only putting forwards its tax liabilities to fund the [rehabilitation of the] roads,". His Imperial Majesty, the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, joined his ancestors.   Oba Oyewumi, described as a peace loving monarch, died at the ripe age of 95, In October 2020, Soun of Ogbomoso rejected N90m from Governor Seyi Makinde after some portions of his palace were destroyed by protesters. This, he said while noting that the deceased ruler made a lasting impact on his domain and indelible marks on Oyo State.
