Some Political heavyweights in Ogbomoso celebrate Eid-Ed-Kabir with Prince Wasiu Olukan in his Ogbomoso Resident.



On 21st of July, Ogbomoso political bigwigs celebrated Eid- Kabir with prince Wasiu Olukan whom is known to be a close ally and Follower to the former governor of Oyo state,  H/E Adebayo Alao Akala, in the Sallah celebration feast the gathering which cuts across Ogbomoso 5LGAs, the Well wishers all assembled at Prince Wasiu Olukan Residents to celebrate the Eid-Kabir with him and his family.

Top among them include, Hon Jacob Ajao Adejumo,representing Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency, Hon Olamiju Alao-Akala, former Chairman Ogbomoso North LGA, Alh Raheem Agunyanmole, Alh Hon Bello Razak Atanda, Hon Abiola Oyadiran amongst Others.
The Host Alh Prince Wasiu Olukan told our correspondent our joyful he was to have been honoured with so much heavyweights entourage in his Resident, he however affirm that the "ILEYA FEAST" in his residents started as far back as 1999 since he was a supervisory councillor to Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala in Ogbomoso North LGA.

In his is Statements, he said "Akala Made me" after God,I will thank my parent and then thank Otunba Alao Akala who has played alot of positive leadership and fatherly role in my life, I served in different offices and ministry under Akala leadership from LGA to Ministries in state levels, I can't and will never forget Akala Says APC Chieftain Prince Olukan.

The final programme outline for the official coronation ceremony of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, has been released. Fire Accident Claims Lives of LAUTECH Final Year Students on Excursion

In a devastating incident, a yet-to-be confirmed number of 500-level Accounting students from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, September 27, as the students were making their way back from the excursion. The ill-fated bus carrying the students was involved in an accident that resulted in a fire outbreak along the Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo road in Osun State.
