No Rejection Letter Yet, Head Of Sòun Kingmakers Replies Makinde
The head of kingmakers in Ogbomoso High Chief Sobalaje Otolorin has stated that the kingmakers never received any correspondence from the Oyo state government whether rejecting or approving its recommendation for the new Soun of Ogbomosoland. Ogbomosoinsight recalls that Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Saturday during a live radio interview in Ibadan, said he rejected the recommendation for the new Soun because there were court cases challenging the nomination noting some people claimed they were excluded. Engr. Makinde, who has the power of approving the nomination by the kingmakers emphatically hammered he rejected the nomination on the ground of legal cases.
